After a year with many issues like technical problems, crashes and other things it was nice for Pål to end the season with a win in the Australian Superboat series and a podium finish in the season WC final in Dubai. Pål Virik Nilsen and Giorgio Manuzzi did well in todays Dubai Class-1 grand prix. After a quite bad start they managed to pass several boats and ending the race on the podium in a strong third position.

Victory 7 with Nilsen and Manuzzi struggeled thru the second race this weekend. A trim problem gave them a bad handling boat and it was all about getting it around and complete the race in 5th place.

Pal has an extreme busy racing schedule in this three weeks period. After a poor race last weekend in Geelong, did Pal and Tom get their deserved win in heavy sea conditions in Williamstown yesterday. Now Pal is on the way to Norway for just some hours before he head down to Dubai for the season...

Pål Virik Nilsen and Tom Barry-Cotter did a great job in todays race just outside Melbourne. A very rough course with messy big waves and very strong wind. Pal and Tom in "Mustang Aus1" took the start and left the competitors behind.

Williamstown, Melbourne, Pit area "PMA" Site, Nelson Place, Race course off Point Gellibrand. Pole Position Shoot out, Saturday 2pm- 3pm. Race, Sunday start 11:30am, 1 hour single race.
