Pressemelding: Blinke forlag og Pål Virik Nilsen fra Sandefjord lanserer en ny bok på årets «Sjøen for alle» messe på Lillestrøm 14-18 mars. «Båt i hastighet» er en bok for alle båtførere uansett kjønn, alder og skills. Boken er rettet mot båtbrukere som kjører over 20 knop.

Dramatisk VM sølv i Offshore Pål Virik Nilsen hadde gullet i Verdensmesterskapet i Verdens største Offshore Klasse XCAT halveis ned i lommen før de to siste rundene i Dubai i helgen. Men sandefjordsgutten hadde maks uflaks.

So happy we managed to get another win! Now we lead the championship and thats just crazy. Lets hope we can countinue this form. I want to thank my Australian team for a perfect weekend with Pole position win and two race wins. Just like a dream!

Today was a perfect day! First we managed to get pole position after a nail biting fight with Victory team in the qualification. After that we had a good start in the main race and kept the lead the whole race. We won by 1.30 min witch i believe is a record win! Lets hope for a good race tomorrow...

Very happy with podium today. We had a great start and could gain one place from the start. After that we could secure our first podium with Team Australia Powerboat Team! Thanks to our crew for a great job all week.
